Social Justice Forum
Sundays (unless noted), 9:15-10:15am, Meisel Room

Building and Sustaining Justice Amid Uncertainty
I know that the Lord secures justice for the poor and upholds the cause of the needy (Psalm 140:12)

Even in challenging times, God expects us to participate in ways that ensure justice for the poor and care for those who are in need of housing, healthcare, education, justice and freedom. The 2011-12 Social Justice Forum’s Speaker’s Series is designed to help us understand local, national, and global social issues. On “Action Sundays” speakers offer ideas that lead to actions that each of us can take to transform the lives of those most in need—just as the writer in Psalm encourages us to do!
