Membership at Westminster
"How do I become a member of Westminster?"
"What does it mean to be part of this church & its mission?"
"I'd like to explore my faith further....how do I do that?"
This is truly an exciting time at WPC—renovation in the church building, new staff, lots of children, new and revitalized programs. The presence of so many members and friends is a blessing to us all and heightens the feeling of community and progress.
With so much going on and so many people here, however, it can be a bit overwhelming just figuring out just exactly what is going on and how you fit in! All of us have much to contribute to the mission of Jesus Christ through Westminster, and Westminster has much to give us in our growth in faith, belonging in community, and opportunities to express faith through service and advocacy.
New Member Classes Begin Oct. 26

The Covenant of Westminster Membership
I accept Jesus Christ as my savior; I trust in God as sovereign over all creation; and, I rejoice in the sustaining power of the Holy Spirit.
Accepting my responsibility as a member of Westminster, I will strive to be faithful in worship attendance, to nurture my faith, and to find some definite place of usefulness in the mission of the congregation.
Acknowledging that all we have is a gift from God, and responding to God’s grace and love, I will be a faithful steward, and I promise to give regularly of myself and my resources to the ministry of Westminster.
