Camp Ajawah

Since 1922, boys and girls from Minnesota and throughout the United States have come to experience two weeks of summer fun at Ajawah. The camp is located on shores of Linwood Lake, just east of Wyoming, Minnesota—about 35 miles north of the Twin Cities.

What makes Ajawah different from other summer camping programs?  Camp Ajawah is first and foremost a place where kids can just be themselves and have fun. Set in a rustic environment, surrounded by the 40 acres of beautiful hardwood trees, campers spend two weeks in an outdoor camping experience, learning to swim, playing a variety of games and enjoying daily activities, sing songs and listen to stories around the council fire, go on an overnight canoe trip or rock climb at nearby Taylor's Falls, make bracelets in the Craft Shop.

There's always lots to do, but Ajawah is about many other things, too:  personal growth, making new friends with children from different backgrounds, learning to be independent, learning how to become a great camper or a terrific leader.
