February is Children's Library Month
February has been designated Children’s Library Month in the Westminster Children’s Library. All members, especially families and grandparents are invited to visit this wonderful resource, designed to honor and nurture the children of the church.
Each Sunday during February, the Children’s Library will be staffed from 8:45-9:10 and from 11:30-12:15. There will be new books to explore, surprises for visitors and special events:
February 5
Children's Library Month. Stop in to see new books and receive a small gift. Participate in our literary treasure hunts to enter a drawing for beautiful books. Special story time for Pre-K to Grade 3 at 11:30-12:00.
February 12
Children's Library Month Participate in our literary treasure hunts to enter a drawing for beautiful books. Third-sixth graders are invited to come for a spine-chilling story about Norwegian trolls at 11:30.
February 19
Children's Library Month Don't forget to take part in the library treasure hunt! Children's Church will meet in the library this week. We have a shiny new book bag for all children who visit today.
February 26
Children's Library Month There will be more new books added this week. Last chance to participate in the treasure hunt before 11:30. Drawings for books and other related items will be at 11:30.
The CYF Look Ahead Calendar
Westminster offers a variety of programs and events for children, youth, families and parents throughout the year. The CYF Calendar lists events for you to look ahead and include on your family calendars. It is updated regularly, so please check prior to an event or contact one of the people listed below for more detailed information, or to RSVP. Wednesday Evenings during the school year
Come to Westminster on Wednesday evenings (September through May) for dinner, fellowship, education, music and great community. There is a wide variety of opportunities for you and your family to get involved in. After dinner, all of the Westminster choirs practice, adult education is available, and our 9th grade confirmation class also meets.Our schedule for the evening is as follows:
